Valmie’s holiday to Spain

Valmie went on her first ever trip to Europe, with help from LDN London’s support staff.

Valmie is wading in the water at the beach, as other people behind her are standing in the water. You can see lots of people at the beach, the water and an apartment. Valmie wears a white sun hat and a green top.

“I had a nice time!” Valmie tells us she enjoyed her holiday to Barcelona in Spain this summer.

It was Valmie’s first ever holiday outside of the UK. And her first time travelling by aeroplane.

Valmie shared with us that her favourite activity was a zumba and aerobics class in the swimming pool. She also enjoyed eating breakfast at the hotel and going to the beach.

She visited the aquarium, where she saw lots of fish and a shark.

Valmie saved up money for the trip with her part-time jobs. She works at Cockpit theatre in London and as part of LDN Eats (LDN London’s catering team).

Valmie travelled to Spain with her key worker, Anta, who supported her. Our support team also helped her plan the trip.

Valmie kindly brought back gifts for her family and friends.

She is keen to go on another holiday soon, she told us: “I want to go next year.”

Thanks for sharing this with us, Valmie, and we’re really pleased you enjoyed the trip.
