Learning Disability Network London invites you to an evening of live music in support of people with learning disabilities and autism.

There will be rock and indie music from four acts: The Carbonators, Lucas Button, Sweet Giant, and Coming Up Roses.

We’re raising money for activities and workshops for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, and their families.

Learning Disability Network London supports people with learning disabilities across London to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives. People with learning disabilities should be fully included in London’s communities and have all the opportunities that everyone else has. That’s why we’re playing for inclusion.

We help people with a wide range of learning disabilities across six boroughs. People we support have associated health conditions including Down’s Syndrome, Williams Syndrome and Prader-Willi Syndrome.

The venue is inclusive and has wheelchair access. Email Ciaran at cwillis@ldnlondon.org if you have any questions

Note: Tickets are free for support workers or carers who are helping someone to attend. If you are struggling to pay due to the cost of living, please let us know and we will see what we can do.

Coming Up Roses

Hailing from Singapore, London-based alternative rock band Coming Up Roses forge a sound that is distinctively familiar – yet you can’t quite put your finger on. Led by singer-bassist Emily Sera, the group has emerged as one of the most promising acts out of Southeast Asia due to their dynamic live shows and heartfelt lyrics. Expect dream-pop with gorgeous melodies from this blossoming band.

“Pummelling guitar-driven crescendo” – NME

Sweet Giant

Alternative rock with a psychedelic feel. A big and bold sound. Sweet Giant put on a fearsomely good show…

The bands says: ‘Much like the mycelium spreading unseen through the soil, Sweet Giant bursts forth from the underground, like a fruiting body emerging from the forest floor. With spitting amplifiers and rattling drums, buzzing oscillators and runaway echo.’

Listen to Sweet Giant.

Lucas Button

A singer/songwriter hailing from a small town in Lancashire, Lucas often writes music that is melodic, lyrically-tender, sometimes groovy, and almost always unfinished. He has a mellow tone and heartfelt acoustic ballads in the style of Fionn Regan and Donovan.

The Carbonators

The Carbonators are based in Croydon and began as an echo-rock band that formed in 2011. Since then they have honed their own unique blend of digital Blues, punk/new wave and soul music.

The band are part of the label Club Soda, which is made up of musicians with learning disabilities and autism.
