LDN London will give staff and people we support access to free exercise classes, thanks to an an exciting new partnership.

LDN is joining with Brand Inc Fitness so that all our staff and people we support – around 900 people – can use their inclusive online exercise programme ’99p Fitness’.

They will be able to participate in online personal training classes, which are adapted for people with disabilities.

The programme offers a variety of exercises for people of all levels. Classes are updated monthly and are available anytime of the day.

LDN will also create fitness champions: These are members of staff who will encourage people to get involved and participate in exercise.

Richard Pinchen, founder of Brand Inc Fitness, recently came to LDN’s summer fayre to run a fun exercise class which got everyone moving!

Mandy Crowford, assistant CEO at LDN London said: “People we support have been inspired by a summer of sport with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and we hope this will encourage people across LDN to get active. This partnership with Brand Inc Fitness comes at a time when we really want to support more people to enjoy exercise and be healthier.”

It’s important that staff are included, Mandy says: “The wellbeing of our staff is vital. By looking after their own health staff will be better able to help the people they support.”

Max Zander-Holder, business development at Brand Inc Fitness said: “We are very excited to support the physical and mental wellbeing of all the people with learning disabilities and staff members across this amazing organisation. LDN London is fully dedicated to improving the lives of everyone in their community, and we’re proud to support their mission through our inclusive fitness provisions. Together, we’re making fitness accessible for every body.”
